[cardpositioningsystems challenge] Chinese New Year!

CPS149 would be my 2nd challenge that I enter. Here is the card sketch that I have to follow:

There are too many possibilities with this sketch but my mind is on Chinese New Year for now. I know that the CNY won't happen till mid Feb but I would like to take this opportunity to promote the popular colours for CNY {red and gold}. In case you don't know the meaning of this chinese character on the right hand side; it means HAPPINESS.
